Awwww, Allen, you are the swwwwweeeeetest!

Actually, if you look at the date I came on you'll see that I was on almost from the beginning of the blogstream. I think it's about 18 mos. now.

All I can tell you is WATCH OUT! This thing can become very addictive.......especially after you find out that you are meeting better friends on here than you have in real life!

I'm a little more balanced with it now, but in the beginning it was baaaaaaaad.

Connie,
I see that it can become a prob..However I am in the middle of writing a christen recovery book. Also a short book of poems, thoughts and prayers for today. And to find a place that you are able to take a break and stop in where good people are sharing, it works for me better than any coffee break ever has..God bless, Allen

Did you find Allen in the dictionary? I did an on-line name definition search. The surname Allen is derived from the Scottish "aluinn," meaning fair or handsome, according to About.com's genealogy page. As a Christian name it may be derived from the Celtic St. Allen, (variously spelt Allun and Alune). Are you of Cornish descent? There is a Parish of St. Allen in Cornwall with a very pretty church. Here it is:

John,
I do have a Scot-Irish background as well as Seminole Indian with a little bit of "Florida Cracker" thrown into the mix. And, I dearly have an appreciation for all thing Old World. Thanks a million for the picture I truly enjoyed it.

Connie,
thank you and although I would like to take credit. the comment I made to you about "the difference to me, between a computer and a shovel was that I know how to use the shovel" was the truth if I ever told it. I will be over later for that coffee break and thanks God Bless..Allen
